Stage 2 was completed on 30th April 2005.
The objectives of this stage and the achievements
against them are described below:
| Objective |
Achievement |
| Develop
solutions to priority root causes
[established in Stage 1], supported
by robust business cases; |
Evaluation
has determined that 79% of the identified
root causes in gas and 65% in electricity
will be fully or partially resolved
by the CTP solutions. Agreement
of these solutions through industry
change processes is evidence of
the robust business cases and the
CTP workstreams and pre-assessment
processes were used to ensure this
was achieved. |
| Fast-track
the implementation of solutions
as appropriate. The role of the
CTP will be to identify stand-alone
elements for early implementation
wherever possible and raise those
for change into industry governance |
Two
electricity changes were identified
and progressed separately to early
implementation. Gas and electricity
Modification Proposals will be implemented
in advance of the bulk of changes,
as a means of facilitating other
solution elements. |
| Implement
and agree ownership of ongoing performance
measurements against CSFs (in practice,
this will be definition of the framework
for consideration in industry change
processes – not responsibility
for implementation) |
The
Quality Management workstream has
baselined the framework for performance
monitoring in the Service Requirements
Specification. That will now be
taken forward into implementation
in a self-regulating environment
in CTP Stage 3. |
